“After running the Slade Milwaukee soldering iron for over 12 months, I can easily say it has been the best soldering iron I have used, it survives the day to day demand of field service work! It’s battery consumption is more than reasonable, and heats up faster than any gas soldering iron I have come across, the tips last a long time with care and are reasonably priced. As a recent audition (last 4/5 months) I purchased the Slade 18v light, it has also earned it place with night work and repairs, again the battery consumption is more than reasonable. There is hardly anything bad to report on both the soldering iron and light and feel for the price, it the best unit on the market, that can handle hard work of an every day trades.”
